JOB TYPE: Temporary/Part-Time

WORKING HOURS: 9:00am - 5:30pm Saturdays (Additional days may be added when required)

SALARY: TBC

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our shop team at Burton-on-Trent as a Shop Assistant.

The primary responsibilities will include arrow assembly, assisting with appointments and providing customer guidance, as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about archery to gain experience in a retail environment and contribute to the success of our shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assemble arrows according to customer specifications and shop standards.

Assist customers with appointments, enquiries, and purchases in a friendly and professional manner.

Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and recording sales.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and equipment.

Provide support to other team members as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

A genuine interest in archery as a sport or hobby.

A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

The ability to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs, especially during busy periods or unexpected situations.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a sales role, particularly within the retail industry.

Familiarity with popular archery terminology, brands, and products.

Basic knowledge of arrow building and tuning.
