With a more extreme recurve than usual with fiberglass bows, Siren Archery's special cross-woven fiberglass ensures the stability that these big recurves need!
The draw therefore is extremely sweet up to 32 inches.
Because of the little draw weight increase at full draw, inconsistencies in draw length have less impact on your shot.
The big recurves not only improve smoothness of draw, but also store a lot of energy. Meaning the Zelos spits out arrows at high velocity.
Perhaps the most impressive feature of this bow is the total absence of shock in the hand when the arrow leaves the bow.
Even when very light arrows are used, the Zelos seems unaffected and only the slightest vibration can be felt in the grip. Next to that, the bow is quite silent.
All indications that the stored energy goes into the arrow and not back into the bow. All this combined with the sharp lines and flowing profile, makes the Zelos a classic.
One of the materials that give the "Zelos" its unique stability and speed is the choice to use special made 45 degrees multi-directional fiberglass. Multi-directional fiberglass creates great torsion resistance while keeping the draw smooth and light.
This fiberglass comes with its own appearance features. The edges may appear less smooth than unidirectional glass and the layers of the fibers sometimes show up as little directional dents.
This is not a defect. It is a part of the product and ensures you of the quality used.
